5.5" (14 cm.) Each is one-piece all-bisque figure of brown-complexioned child in seated
pose,having black sculpted curly hair,intaglio brown eyes,expressive features,one seated with
crossed legs and holding sponge as though scrubbing; the other with legs extended,toes
curled,wearing white skirt with blue straps. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3857 (boy with
sponge). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1915. Value Points: well-detailed facial
expressions and body poses
