11" (28 cm.) All-bisque figure of kneeling child with curled feet tucked behind is posed with her head tilted sideways and her arms bent backward covering her ears,her hands clasping the back of her long sculpted blonde tousled hair,the curls extending onto her forehead,intaglio narrow blue side-glancing eyes in deeply-defined eye sockets,feathered brows,rounded nose,closed mouth sculpted as though open with laughing expression,impressed dimples,row of beaded teeth. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (indecipherable model number) Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: the exceptionally rare large size allows wonderful enhancement of sculpting details in the delightful childhood pose.
