13" (33 cm.) All-bisque sculpted figure of an angel with flat-back designed for wall-
hanging,having large rose wings,brown flowing sculpted hair with coronet of flowers,painted
facial features with downcast eyes,heavy eyelids,sculpted blue gown with pink dots and gilded
accents,crossed ankles of bare feet,and extended arms that are holding a large bisque seashell.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J&M (impressed in beehive shape) T.C. (embossed).
Comments: Germany,circa 1875. Value Points: large size,exceptional sculpting,beautiful details
of painting such as gossamer-like painting of costume at her knees.
