Description
12" (30 cm.) The flat die-cut wooden figures have lithographed-paper cover to depict the
various Brownie characters,along with original red wooden slot bases for display. The
lithographed-paper designs are based upon the illustrations of the Brownies that appeared in
the various Palmer Cox books,and include:
Canadian,Dude,Indian,Irishman,Soldier,Policeman,Chinaman (two),Uncle Sam,and Highlander.
Each marked "copyrighted 1892 by Palmer Cox". Very good condition,some water
spots,Policeman has piece of base missing. Circa 1900.
