10" (25 cm.) All-bisque seated figure of young child with knees drawn up and clasped by
intertwined fingers,head turned strongly to the right,having short brown sculpted hair with
defined topknot and forelock curls,prominent ears,narrow intaglio side-glancing blue
eyes,painted brows,upturned nose,closed mouth modeled as though open with defined
tongue,dimples. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) (indecipherable
model number). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: superb detail of
laughter crinkles,and finger and toe sculpting on the charming character,
