10" (25 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figurine depicting a charming scene of a young boy and girl
seated outdoors,a book held on her lap that they both appear to be reading; having painted
matching mariner style costume with decorative tassel-edged sash. checkered cap on
boy,striped stockings,sculpted curly brown hair,smiling expressions. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1890. Value Points: delightful scene whose details even
include a pencil sketch illustration inside the "book".
