16" (41 cm.) All-bisque figure of young boy in standing pose,his head tilted to the side,and his arms extended holding a rose in his right hand,and a dog-head walking stick in his left hand,having sculpted short brown curly hair under top hat with wide band and upturned side brims,intaglio side-glancing eyes,closed mouth in solemn expression,sculpted gold spectacles,and wearing fancy suit with gold-edged lapels on jacket,maroon vest and bow tie,fancy plaid cuffed pants and handkerchief. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: the rarity of the vignette is rivaled by its wonderful depiction of a young boy all-dressed-up as though to court his sweetheart.
