11" (28 cm.) All-bisque figure of young child in seated pose,his knees drawn up and held by clasped hands,his head turned to the side. The figure has a sculpted bathing cap with well-defined folds and decorative pom-pom,his face sculpted into a laughing expression,intaglio dark blue eyes,closed mouth modeled as though open with shaded lips and defined tongue,sculpted swim pants with blue ribbon trim. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7852(?) Heubach (sunburst). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: exceptionally large size allowing for superlative detail of sculpting,especially of facial expression,intertwined fingers,toes,chubby fat rolls.
