All-bisque figure of young child lying on his stomach,feet curled in the air,his body leaning sideways and resting upon his right elbow,a white bisque ball clasped in his right hand,having light brown sculpted curly hair with forelock curl,intaglio side-glancing blue eyes with heavy eyelids,one-stroke brows,closed mouth with laughing expression,sculpted white smock with blue ribbon trim. Condition: professional restoration at ankles,otherwise excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: delightful realistic childhood vignette of laughing child who has captured the ball and now is hiding it,superb detail of sculpting overall.
