All-bisque character boy with brown complexion is depicted in seated pose,as though about to scamper away,his head turned to the left,clutching a sculpted ear of corn; having deeply sculpted tightly-curled hair,brown side-glancing eyes,painted features,blue sculpted shirt with pink dots. Condition; generally excellent. Marks: made in Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: the rarity of the sculpture is rivaled by the superb detail of sculpting especially of facial features,and fine complexion and features.
