8.5" (22 cm.) All-bisque figure of young seated child with knees drawn up,leaning forward and
balanced on extended arms,her head tilted sideways and looking upward,having light brown
sculpted hair with long curls onto her back shoulders,and well-defined forelock curls,intaglio
blue side-glancing eyes in deeply-sculpted eye sockets,feathered brows,accented nostrils of
upturned nose,closed mouth modeled as though open with laughing expression,impressed
dimples. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: wonderful facial expression enhanced by laughter crinkles
and dimples,hair sculpting includes long lock of curl into front left shoulder,well-defined fingers
and toes.
