13" (33 cm.) head circumference. 17" length. Solid domed bisque head with flanged
neck,sculpted and painted brown hair and brows,painted eyes in half-moon shape with black
upper eyeliner,eye shadow,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips and sculpted tongue
tip,muslin body,celluloid hands,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: copr. by
Grace S,. Putnam made in Germany. Comments: designed by Grace Putnam,made in
Germany,circa 1925. Value Points: original head and body,the painted eye version of the Smiling
Bye-Lo is very hard to find and was made with either open or closed mouth.
