4.5" (11 cm.) All-bisque figure of kneeling brown-complexioned boy,his head tilted to the side
and his arms held to his head with fingers held to ears as though saying "I don̴t want to hear
it",having deeply-sculpted curly black hair,brown side-glancing intaglio eyes,closed mouth in
laughing expression,sculpted white short pants with single strap and blue and yellow stripes.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: amusing character,his laughing expression and finger-
blocking ears suggest he is being mischievous and doesn̴t want to hear about it; enhanced by
fine sculpting of hair,and all-around details including bare feet shown at the back.
