8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on chubby bisque torso,rounded facial
shape,sculpted blonde baby hair and tinted brows,blue glass sleep eyes,painted lashes,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,loop-jointed bisque arms and legs,lovely antique
baby gown. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c. 1924 by E.I. Horsman Co. Inc. Germany.
Comments: Horsman,their "Tynie Baby" of 1924 was designed by Bernard Lipfert,as competition
for the Bye-lo Baby of the preceding year. Value Points: especially fine detail of sculpting of
petulant frown lines,fine quality of bisque.
