16" (41 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure of young girl with deeply-sculpted blonde curly hair,in
standing pose with haughtily uptilted head and hands as though she is a proper lady of society;
with sculpted lady̴s costume suggesting "playing dress-up" including plumed bonnet,long boa
collar,jacket,gilt-trimmed skirt,parasol,gloved hands,and fancy lorgnette,posed upon a self
base. Condition: generally excellent,cheeks and forehead have glazed finish suggesting possible
over-paint. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value
Points: very rare figure with exceptional and charming detail of costume,pose,facial
features,including such realistic touches as tiny pointed baby finger and downcast side-glancing
eyes.
