16" (41 cm.) All pink muslin doll with felt mask face,painted brown side-glancing eyes,white
eyedots,painted curly upper lashes,single-stroke brows,closed mouth with rosebud-shaped
lips,blonde mohair wig,stitch-jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
"Little Nell" Madame Alexander New York (cloth tag on costume). Comments: Alexander,from her
Dickens series,the doll was made 1933-1934 only. Value Points: beautiful unplayed with
condition,the doll wears her original pink cotton print dress with wide organdy collar,underslip
with attached pantalets,stockings,shoes,wide-brimmed bonnet,and is preserved in her original
box.
