Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape,small brown glass sleep eyes,painted curly lashes,short feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accent line between the downcast lips,brunette mohair wig with coiled braids at crown and sides of head,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 184 (head) Made for G.A. Schwartz Philadelphia Made in Germany (torso). Comments: Kestner,circa 1910,the rare character model was commissioned by the prestige Philadelphia toy store. Value Points: rare model in most endearing size with wonderful expression,bisque,painting,original body and body finish.
