Description
10" (25 cm.) l. An all-bisque basket with deeply-sculpted woven wicker design on the sides has
removable lid, which is sculpted to appear as though an open basket lid from which are peeking
four bisque children, each with sculpted hair, facial features, posed arms and fingers. Each face is

enhance the expression(tilted head,clenched fists,curled fingers,etc). Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: extremely rare grand size of
the intricately detailed vignette scene, with details of sculpting including ruffled polka dot bonnet
on one child,deeply-intaglio eyes and impressed dimples on all, with superb painting.
