12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with slender facial shape of older boy,painted dark blue eyes,black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,aquiline nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth with very full pouting lips,brunette mohair bobbed wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,few typical wig pulls high at back of head. Marks: K*R 107 30. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,circa 1912,the model was marketed as "Carl",from the firm̴s art character reform series from a commissioned sculpture by German artist Arthur Lewin-Funcke. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting,bisque and painting on this model,with original wig,body,body finish,and original Tyrolean costume,shoes and socks.
