Description
12" (30 cm.) Designed in the shape of a flower-filled garden urn,having gilt-paper-covered
base surmounted by a bisque urn which is filled with a glorious arrangement of miniature silk
and paper flowers; additional moss cover and flowers fill the lower borders. The center section
detaches from the base for use as candy container,and the base also served as a candy container
section. Excellent condition,lid of bottom section is missing. French,mid/late 19th century,an
exceptional early candy container,the gilded paper enhanced by generous bead and impressed
designs
