10" (25 cm.) All-bisque figure of a young child lying on his back,his head turned to the side as
though admiring a nearby object,his arms raised to the sides of his head,with curled legs bent at
the knees,the left leg kicking delightfully in the air,having deeply sculpted brown hair with well-
defined forelock and side curls,intaglio dark blue eyes,feathered brows,closed mouth modeled
open as though laughing,sculpted baby suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach
(sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: outstanding quality of
sculpting especially of hair,laughing expression,defined fingers and toes,and impressed design
of knitting and lace on costume.
