Description
8" (20 cm.) A bisque lidded jar in the shape of an egg is posed upon a branch-shaped form with
well-details tree knots and leaves,and has a removable lid. Posed upon the lid,as though just
emerging from the egg shell are a brown-complexion bisque boy with sculpted black curly
hair,intaglio eyes,and closed mouth with laughing expression,tightly holding onto a squirming
piglet who is trying to escape. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark).
Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: delightful scene enhanced by
exceptional detail of sculpting,wonderful expression on boy̴s face,excellent quality of bisque.
