Each all-bisque figure depicts a highly-characterized brown-complexioned child in seated pose,each with deeply-sculpted curly hair,painted facial features with intaglio detailing,each with sculpted skirt or pants,one having a long beaded turquoise necklace that the child is reaching for and admiring; the other with a scrub sponge,his ankles crossed and washing his legs. Germany,Gebruder Heubach,circa 1915,one with impressed Heubach sunburst mark. Excellent condition. $600/900
