15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with very pronounced plump cheeks and chin,so- called cabbage ears,brown sculpted short boyish hair with forelock and nape curls,very narrow squinting intaglio eyes with black and incised eyeliner,white eyedots,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils of rounded,closed mouth with beaming smile,two porcelain lower teeth,composition toddler body with jointing at shoulders,hips and knees,wearing nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7746 (Heubach sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: rare character model with outstanding sculpting of chubby toddler features enhanced by deeply impressed dimples,baby fat rolls at back of neck,laughter crinkles around the eyes.
