Description
4" (10 cm.) Each is one-piece all-bisque figure of young brown-complexioned child with black
sculpted short curly hair,expressively-sculpted facial features,side-glancing intaglio eyes; one
with smiling expression,yellow sculpted hat and long-sleeved white shirt,holding a large
watermelon which he is about to slice; the other kneeling,his fingers covering his ears as though
expressing the thought "I don̴t want to hear". Excellent condition. Each with Heubach sunburst
mark. Gebruder Heubach,circa 1915.
