12" (30 cm.) All-bisque figure depicts a young standing child posed with right arm uplifted ready to toss the bisque ball he holds in that hand,his left arm bent at the elbow and held to body,with sculpted floor-length blue gown and white pinafore,and having sculpted short blonde curly hair,intaglio dark blue eyes,painted eyeliner and lashes,accented nostrils,closed mouth with dimpled outlines. Condition: generally excellent,possible retouch at the back neck. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: the rare model has outstanding details of sculpting including deeply comb-marked curls,impressed dimples and laughter lines,sculpted rick-rack trim on pinafore.
