Description
6" (15 cm.) All-bisque figure of young brown-complexioned child in seated pose,a bowl of
spilled porridge held between his legs,his right hand holding a spoon,his left arm
outstretched,and his head tilted with an expression of "Oh,no". The boy has sculpted black curly
hair,intaglio brown side-glancing eyes,"O" shaped closed mouth,and painted and sculpted white
smock with blue and orange stripes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst
mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: beautiful rich brown
complexion,superb detail of hair and facial sculpting,most appealing vignette scene.
