11" (28 cm.) All-bisque figure of young girl sculpted as though learning to walk,posed inside the
frame of a classic 19th century walker,her head tilted forward,her arms clasping the walker
frame,and one foot front peeking out of the walker frame at the base; having brown sculpted
hair beneath a sculpted white Charlotte bonnet with pink ribbon,painted blue intaglio side-
glancing eyes,closed mouth,well-sculpted draped green gown with white lacy-sculpted collar
and cuffs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: rare model with realistically depicted childhood
activity,superb details of sculpting.
