Description
18" (46 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder head with slender facial shape and elongated
throat,brown sculpted hair in side-parted short boyish fashion with stippling details across the
forehead,grey/blue painted eyes with white eyedots,black upper eyeliner,accent dots at eye
corners and nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line between the full lips,kid gusset-
jointed body with porcelain arms,antique costume comprising white shirt,black cashmere
jacket,velvet short trousers,knit stockings,leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
W/4 (possibly,somewhat illegible letters inside shoulder plate). Comments; attributed to
KPM,circa 1860. Value Points: very rare early doll with handsome features,rare brown hair,fine
lustrous porcelain enhancing the artistic painting.
