Description
32" (81 cm.) w. x 13"h. x 12"d. The wooden-framed rooms have lithographed-paper exterior
with brick pattern,constructed window frames and decorative front pilasters. There are two
three-paned windows in the parlor,and one in the bedroom,each with original matching
cornice,that matches the cornice over the interior door way with paneled and pencil-striped
door. The rooms have matching old wallpaper with borders,and lithographed-paper floors to
simulate parquet. Lace curtains hang at the windows,and a nice chandelier hangs in each
room. The parlor is furnished with a beautifully upholstered,tufted,patterned-twill set of sofa
and two chairs,and included are wood-framed chairs and recamier in identical early fabric. An
unusual tall fireplace of faux-pink marble has a mantel mirror,and a sewing table sits in the
corner. There is a pair of porcelain jardinieres,various prints,and other accessories. The
bedroom is furnished with a dainty fruitwood set including canopy bed,two washstands with
cut-holes for wash bowl or jars,and two different dressing tables,along with various
accessories. Four elegant bisque dollhouse ladies live in the home. Excellent condition.
