Description
15" (38 cm.) w. x 11"h. x 11"d. A five-paneled
folding cardboard room has original
wall-paper,paper border and matching paper
wainscoting and floor,and is designed to be set up
within its storage box walls which serve as a
structural form. The walls are hung with four
early colored engravings with pressed paper
frames,and there are three very ornate mirrors
with pressed paper frames. There is a thickly
beaded carpet with beaded fringe,and the room has
its original furnishings of soft wood trimmed with
delicate decoupage engravings and Dresden gilt
paper edging. The set comprises a settee and four
arm chairs with trapunto lavender silk
upholstery,oval table,spinet piano,fernery with
flowers,and fire place with early engraving on the
fire screen. There is an ormolu mantel clock,two
potted plants,and a tragant Cupid figure.
Excellent condition,some light fraility to
