5" (13 cm.) h. doll,5 1/2"l. sofa. The charming vignette features an early Biedermeier-era
wooden-framed sofa with original upholstery and rolled pillows; matching glazed-door
bookcase with interior shelves,pair of Staffordshire miniature dogs,very rare embroidered silk
wall picture with impressed card paper frame edged with gilt; and a porcelain shoulder head doll
with black sculpted curls,antique body and costume and carrying tiny porcelain baby in taufling
costume. Excellent condition. Furniture and dolls German,circa 1865. Wall panel is likely
French,circa 1875.
