Description
14"(36 cm.) w. x 16"h. x 5"d. A wooden stall-front filled with multiple
niches,drawers,counters,and a centered mirror-back is painted original ochre green with gold
accents and brass knobs. There is a canvas awning at the the top which opens and closes by
turning the metal handle at the side. The shelves are filled with a bounty of flowers including
porcelain-potted flowers,Gottschalck pots with flowers,an early pair of paper flowers in paper
vases,flowering plants on wooden bases and more. There is a lithographed tin penny toy
watering can and tin bucket. A pair of all-bisque characters with sculpted costumes
and"nodder"heads stand in attendance. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1900.
