Description
5" (13 cm.) fireplace. A tinplate fireplace has
vibrant lithographed designs to simulate marble
and tiles,arranged in a rich pattern. Along with a
silvered tin clock with embossed designs
surmounted by figural of a tin clown teasing an
elephant; the clock rests upon a painted black
base designed to appear as though ebony,and has a
winding key at the back although its purpose is
unknown (clock does not work). Excellent
condition,few minor paint scratches on fireplace.
