Description
29"(74 cm.) w. x 13"h. x 13"d. Wooden two-room dollhouse setting has original yellow and
ochre painted exterior with pencil-striping,and tan and golden pilasters with unusual carved
details. There are three wooden-framed three-pane windows with Gottschalk silver
handles,and a connecting wooden door with lithographed-paper to simulate paneling and
Gottschalk handle. The windows are fitted with original wooden cornices,original curtains,and
original wooden tie-backs,and there is old wall-paper and borders and lithographed-paper
floors to simulate parquet floors. The parlor has a wonderful ensemble of maple-wood
furniture with original floral-patterned fabric upholstery. There is a metal parlor stove,a
wooden piano and matching chairs (of uncertain age),beaded carpet,lovely chandelier,statue
of ballerina on pedestal,various framed prints. The bedroom has a gilded metal bed with bird
finials,two very worn pieces of white Rock and Graner furniture,brass-plated radiator cover
and other accessories and lighting. Seven bisque dollhouse ladies and four all-bisque child
