Description
8" (20 cm.) and 10". Each has paper mache shoulderhead with sculpted black hair, painted facial features, slender kid body, carved wooden arms and legs; the larger with so-called "beehive" coiffure and painted blue eyes; and the smaller with long ringlet curls onto her shoulders and painted brown eyes. Condition: very good, original condition of painting and costumes albeit a bit dusty. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: the dolls are wearing their original costumes.
