6"(15 cm.) l. Of very elaborate filigree design and having high headboard with urn-centered
pediment to match the bedpost finials,high-relief designs on side rails,and fancy matching foot
board,the bed is painted gold and silver with black accents. Along with a hanging gas light with
milk glass globe,and a towel bar in original black paint with gold accents and painted floral
medallion. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1890,probably Babette Schweizer.
