6.7" (17 cm.) l. sofa. Each is of lightwood with brown painted finish to emulate mahogany,ebony
black trim,faux-marble banding,and rich gilt stenciled decorations,comprising early sofa in the
Renaissance Revival style with original blue silk upholstery and pillows (tip of crest lacking); desk
with unusual double-tiered shelving and mirrored back (mirror has silvering loss),mirrored door
armoire; sewing table; drop-front desk with green-paper lining; and bed with antique fittings.
Excellent but as noted. Germany,attributed to Wagner & Sohne,circa 1880.
