Description
3 1/2" (9 cm.) w. table. A German wooden pedestal sewing table of the Biedermeier era with
faux-rosewood finish displays a very rare 3/4" faux-tortoise shell magnifying glass in its
original velvet-lined box with gilt stamped Vienna address,with miniature book dated 1877 that
depicts women's hair styles of the era (spine worn),and with a superb cast-brass framed (easel
back) painting on porcelain depicting an angel leaning over a baby's cradle. Excellent condition.
