Description
6" (15 cm.) Each has bisque head with very large
blue glass eyes,painted features,closed
mouth,original lambswool wig,carton
torso,paper-mache wooden arms and legs,and is
wearing original costume depicting Marquis and
Lady of the Court. A simple bellows movement in
their legs allows the Lady to lift her apron and
the Marquis to doff his tricorn hat. Excellent
condition. French,circa 1885.
