Description
35" (89 cm.) w. x 18"h. x 16"d. The wooden-framed rooms have ochre-painted exterior with
constructed window frames,and beautifully-carved brown-painted front columns with urn-
shaped finials,ribbed columns,and brass relief lion?s head ornaments. There are three faux-
wood-grained window-frames with double windows that open inwardly with unusual latches,and
with matching cornices. Brass curtain tie-back knobs are at the parlor windows. A door between
the two rooms has paint-grained finish. Original lithographed-paper covers the floors in a
parquet fashion,and the walls feature wonderful old paper. Of particular note is the parlor with
five borders adding a very luxurious touch. Excellent condition,some light wall spotting,old wood
repair on right side wall. Germany,circa 1890.
