Description
6" (15 cm.) l. settee. Of lightwood with die-cut edges to suggest carving,and having exuberant
lithographed-paper cover with colorful designs to emulate carving,hand-painting and other
decorative techniques,in the manner of German and Northern European country styles. Included
are washstand with mirror,settee,oval pedestal table and two chairs. Good condition,some rubs
to paper. Probably Germany,circa 1885.
