32"(81 cm.) w. x 15"h. x 16"d. A wooden framed one-room shop with dark-stain finish on the
exterior,ceiling moldings,front frame and floor,is fitted with wooden shelves all-around,and a
wooden cupboard and matching arc-shaped counter with 14 drawers with bone-tip handles.
Arranged around the store are a total of 47 wonderful bisque or porcelain objet?s d?art from
France and German porcelain makers of the late-19th/early-20th century. Included are a set
of bisque plaques depicting French theatrical figures at play,another two plaques (probably
Hertwig) with lady leaning out of the placard,Dresden lace children,wonderful jester musicians
on a ladder,jasperware romantically-themed statues,various pairs including boy and girl
standing on chairs,and another pair of boy and girl dressed up as Papa and Mama. A bisque
dollhouse lady with glass eyes stands in attendance and a decorated feather tree is in the
background signifying the well-stocked store for the holidays. Excellent condition,minor
flakes on a few pieces. Germany,early-20th century.
