Description
25" (64 cm.) w. x 12"h. x 15"d. The simple
window-less wooden framed room with
pressed-cardboard trim at the front panels has
painted walls and floors in rich stenciled and
diamond-point designs. The room is cozily
furnished as though a hunting lodge in the
mountains,yet decorated for Christmas festivities.
Furnishings include a heavily-carved dark wood
buffet with faux-marble top,matching dessert
buffet,another cabinet,trestle table,three chairs
with pressed-design leather seats and backs,and a
richly-upholstered sofa in red and green velvet
with ormolu lion?s head ornaments. An oil painting
of a deer hangs on the back wall centering the
mounted head of a wild boar and a bronze deer head
design with rifle and hunting horn. Other
accessories include an embroidered felt carpet
with hunting horn design,six-arm metal
candelabra,decorated Christmas tree,tragant
Nativity scene and Bishop,various pewter
dishes,various Christmas toys,and four small
bisque dolls. Very good/excellent condition.
