Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pertly-shaped lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, kid torso and legs with gusset jointing at hips and knees, bisque arms with peg-jointing at shoulders, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 1/2 (head and shoulders). Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: very dear little closed mouth child with rare body style, lovely bisque, included is little pink woven basket.
