5 1/2"(14 cm.) l. settee. Tiny glass beads are woven on delicate wire frames to create an illusion of 19th century bent-wire garden furniture,and are trimmed with colorful beaded flower decorations and crystal and green beaded fringe. The set comprises a settee and two chairs that are upholstered in ivory silk with embroidered flowers,along with an oval matching table whose table top is also silk with embroidered flowers. Excellent condition. Mid/late-19th century,an exquisite and beautifully preserved rare set.
