30" (76 cm.) w. x 13"h. x 13"d. Wooden-framed two-room dollhouse has original grey
exterior paint with red and black pencil striping,three triple-paned windows with original
cornices and wood panels from sills to floor,wide paneled double door between the two rooms
with painted accents to enhance the paneling,old wallpapers with decorative
borders,lithographed-paper floor to simulate carpet. There are antique felt flannel and lace
curtains and a beaded chandelier in the large room. The house has its original Schneegass &
Sohn wooden furniture of honey-toned maple comprising rare fireplace,sewing table,settee
and four chairs with maroon velvet upholstery and silk fringe,marble top table,cupboard with
glazed upper cabinet,armoire,unusual upholstered armchair,bed,two marble top night-
stands,dressing table and clothing rack. Accessories included domed porcelain and metal
clock,nine various prints,soft metal jardinere with potted plants,soft metal birdcage on
pedestal table,tiny Christmas tree,and five tiny snow babies. Two bisque ladies and two
children live in the house. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1900.
