Description
36" (91 cm.) w. x 18"h.x 21"d. The wooden-framed
kitchen has paper-lithographed exterior to
simulate wood grain,and paper-lithographed
interior walls and floor to simulate tile. A rare
blue enameled metal stove sits center-sage and has
its original blue chimney with brass cap,brass
oven doors,and blue enamel-ware pots and pans;
there are 13 pieces of tole ware including a rare
cutlery tray that is filled with blue and white
porcelain-handled cutlery. An electric light
fixture hangs over the stove,and other furnishings
include glass-door cupboard,large multi-shelved
cupboard that extends one entire side
wall,upper-shelving that extends the length of the
other side wall,wire-door pie safe,2
tables,chair,stool,bench,and corner cupboard. A
tin sink with faucet is at the side front,and
other tinware includes labeled hanging rack for
utensils,box,patisserie box,and match safe. There
is a metal scale and a wooden spoon rack with blue
and white porcelain utensils. The kitchen is
decorated with more than 55 pieces of blue and
white porcelain wares including cutting
boards,canisters,bowls,pitchers,molds,platters,kettles
and a salt box. Two bisque dolls with sculpted
hair and painted features,muslin bodies and
antique costumes stand at attention. Excellent
