Description
5 1/2"(14 cm.) l. desk. Each of three pieces has wooden frame with lacquered or ebonized
finish,the desk and table with gilt stencil decorations,and each piece having rich metal applique
ornamentation. The credenza has metal edging and crest,applique scrolls on the bombe-shaped
sides and doors,and a filigree soft metal shelf,original paper backing. The desk has metal edging
on the back and framing the tiny mirror,and painted tin shelves and bone knob on the faux-
drawer. The table has silver mountain scene on the table top and cabriole-shaped metal legs
with acanthus trim painted brown to simulate bronze. Very good/excellent condition.
