Description
10" (25 cm.) h. bookcase. 11"l. recamier. The work
of a fine cabinetmaker,the mahogany pieces include
a bookcase with double glazed doors above lower
paneled doors and filled with rows of faux-books;
recamier with gracefully-shaped back and
arms,original patterned twill upholstery and
matching cushion; pedestal tea table with square
top and three legs; arm chair; and rocking chair
with arms and nicely turned back splat. Excellent
condition. English,circa 1850,the ensemble
displays well with 9"-10" dolls. Provenance:
